BAC CalMag 2.0

BAC CalMag 2.0 is a high-grade mix of calcium, magnesium, iron and natural trace elements that ensures that the extra calcium and magnesium needs of the plant can be met. Suitable for all substrates. Calmag 2.0 is exceptionally suitable for soft or demineralized water and reverse osmosis.

Use Calmag to enrich water that is low in calcium and magnesium, or as a supplement to normal feeding.
When using reverse osmosis water (RO), first use the CalMag 2.0
add and mix well.

Key Iron Chelates and Their Uses,

EDTA Chelate:

Best for foliar sprays or soils with acidic to slightly acidic pH (≤6.0).

Rapidly corrects iron deficiency and is widely available but is less stable in neutral to alkaline conditions.

DTPA Chelate: >(The One in Calmag 2.0)

Works well in soils and systems with a pH up to 6.0–7.5, making it suitable for most hydroponic systems and greenhouse crops.

Advantages include good stability and less interaction with UV-sterilizers.

EDDHA Chelate:

Ideal for alkaline soils (pH above 7) and stays stable even at very high pH (up to 10–14).

Look for formulas with a high “ortho-ortho” isomer percentage, as these provide the best stability and efficacy.

HBED Chelate:

Most suitable for extremely alkaline conditions (pH up to 12), long-lasting, and less affected by UV or copper in the solution
