The following information outlines the Terms & Conditions of shopping with Glandore Hydroponics. Please ensure you have read and understand the following information prior to placing an order. If you have any questions, please ask us through the Contact Us form.

Ordering

• You are not required to create an account with Glandore Hydroponics to place orders, however you will be required to supply a valid delivery address and phone number.
• When placing an order you agree to receive transactional communication from Glandore in relation to the order, including e-mails or phone calls regarding order confirmation, payment verification, delays, shipping and feedback.
• Occasionally an order may include some special requirements (Quantity / Weight / Dimensions / Shipping Address), please either call us (08-8371-5777) or advise us via our Contact Form before placing your order.

Shipping

• Orders that have a total weight over 50kg will incur a $45 tailgate fee
• Shipping charges are calculated based upon volumetric weight, as the dimensions of the products are also taken into consideration. Actual physical weight of a product does not necessarily equate to its cubic calculated weight (or volumetric weight).
• Glandore Hydroponics uses a combination of freight delivery options; Australia Post (Regular & Express parcels) for orders under 3kg, and Direct Freight Express for orders greater than 3kg.

Same Day Delivery (Adelaide Metro)

We offer same day delivery to metro Adelaide for orders placed before 12pm. On larger orders, we advise you to place the order as early as possible to ensure it can be packed on time. Please be aware that our same day delivery courier has authority to leave deliveries in a safe place if no one is home to accept the delivery.

• Free for orders over $200
• Flat rate of $25 for orders under $200 (excluding Bulky Goods)

Same Day Shipping

• Same day shipping applies only to orders played before 12pm.
• Items are shipped same day Monday-Friday. Orders placed on weekends will be shipped on the next business day.

Free Shipping

Orders that have a total weight over 50kg will incur a $45 tailgate fee. Free shipping DOES NOT apply to certain bulky items, clearance items and sale items. If a product is excluded from free shipping, it will be indicated in the product description. Free shipping DOES NOT apply to the following postcodes:

Australia Post Parcels & Express Parcels

The prices indicated for delivery in the shopping cart are based on rates from Australia Post. To view rates, add items to the shopping cart, and then commence the checkout process. Your various shipping options will be displayed, allowing you to compare prices.

While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy in shipping prices, there may be occasions when insufficient delivery (packaging & postage) has been estimated. In the unusual event that additional packaging & postage charger are required, you will be informed by email and/or telephone to make arrangements for payment. If you are unsure please send an email before placing your order.

Express Post

Tracking included. Guaranteed next business day delivery* within the Express Post delivery network and fastest possible delivery for other areas. Express Post guarantee currently suspended: Express Post remains Australia Post’s fastest postal service, but current circumstances mean they can’t guarantee next-business-day delivery at the moment.

Regular Post

Tracking included. Economical postage option from Australia Post. Australia Post is currently experiencing service disruptions as a result of COVID-19. Visit the Australia Post website for more information.

National Courier

We use Direct Freight Express as our freight carrier for orders over 3kg. Direct Freight Express shipping time is usually 2-5 days. There may be delays for regional customers, or during peak times. COVID-19 is also causing nationwide freight delays, particularly in Victoria.

Again, while every effort has been made to ensure accuracy in shipping prices, there may be occasions when insufficient delivery (packaging & postage) has been estimated. In the unusual event that additional packaging & postage is required, you will be informed by email and/or telephone to make arrangements for payment.

Where possible, orders will be placed on the smallest pallet possible. Where possible, boxes are turned inside out and objects are placed inside one another to conserve space and ensure discreet delivery. If required, your order will be placed on a wooden pallet, then subsequently wrapped in plain cardboard. Over the top of the cardboard is a layer of black plastic, also ensuring your order remains weather-proof.

Refunds, Returns & Warranty

• Many goods sold at Glandore Hydro come with a manufacturers warranty. If you wish to make a warranty claim, please contact us. For certain goods, you will make your claim directly to the manufacturer, for others we will honor the warranty directly or submit the goods on your behalf. In all instances, you are responsible for associated freight costs. In no circumstances will a warranty claim be processed without return of the original product.
• We offer refunds, repairs and/or replacements if an item is faulty, not fit for purpose, or doesn’t match the description.
• Proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.
• We advise customers to choose carefully, as we do not provide refunds for change of mind. Please make sure that you thoroughly research items before purchasing. If you’re not sure about something, contact us before purchasing.
• We may refuse to accept a return if you have damaged the goods after purchasing, or used the goods incorrectly.
• If an item is returned and is found not to be faulty, there may be a charge, depending on the supplier, which you will be required to pay prior to return of the item. Goods will not be returned until return freight is paid for.
